Amazon Announce Perfect Launch Playbook & New Seller Incentives Worth $50,000

Amazon has announced a new suite of seller incentives and their Perfect Launch Playbook designed to help you grow your brand, scale your business, and promote your products. Amazon data scientists have determined the five key areas that can really maximize success when starting to sell on the Amazon marketplace.

It is with this data that Amazon has compiled their Perfect Launch Playbook. The five key selling programs are:

  • Brand Registry
  • A+ Content
  • Fulfillment by Amazon
  • Automated Pricing
  • and Advertising

Amazon has found that those sellers that can tick all of these boxes within the first 90 days of getting started, generate sales more quickly.

Perfect Launch Playbook & $50,000 in Benefits

To go along with the launch of the Perfect Launch Playbook, Amazon is also offering eligible sellers a host of benefits that has the potential to reach over $50,000.

That’s why we’re excited to launch New Seller Incentives – a suite of benefits worth more than $50,000 in potential value – and the Perfect Launch Playbook that gives new sellers actionable steps to help them succeed even faster.”

The benefits that new sellers can make the most of include:

  • New sellers can register their brand via Amazon Brand Registry, and be eligible for:
    • A 5% bonus on up to $1,000,000 in eligible branded sales (up to $50K in bonus value!)
    • $200 in credits for Amazon Vine, which invites the most trusted reviewers on Amazon to post opinions about new products to help their fellow customers make informed purchase decisions.
    • $100 in credits for Transparency, which helps brands proactively prevent counterfeits from reaching customers, engage with customers, improve customer experience, and identify supply chain defects.
  • For new sellers who adopt Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), benefits include:
    • $100 in credits for using the Amazon Partnered Carrier program or $200 in credits for using Amazon Global Logistics for inbound shipping fees.
    • Auto-enrollment in FBA New Selection, providing free monthly storage, liquidations, and return processing for eligible new-to-FBA products.
    • $200 in promotional clicks for also adopting Sponsored Products.
  • For new sellers who adopt Amazon Coupons, benefits include up to $50 in Coupons credits. Coupons help brands create targeted and compelling promotions for customers on Amazon.

New Professional sellers who list their first product on or after January 1, 2022, in the US, Japan, or Europe (the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain only) and take the required actions are eligible for New Seller Incentives and certain terms and conditions will apply.

After announcing successful Q4 financial results this is promising from Amazon as they roll out these new seller incentives and Perfect Launch Playbook to help sellers get started quickly on the marketplace.
