Amazon Introduces Echo Look to Select Prime Members
Echo Look, it resembles a security camera, but in reality, it is a style camera.
Amazon’s latest addition to its Echo line of gadgets is a $199 Hands-Free camera and style assistant.
With Echo Look, you use your voice to take full-length photos and short videos. The camera includes built-in LED lighting, depth sensing, and computer vision based background blur.
ALEXA, TAKE A PICTURE – ALEXA, TAKE A VIDEO
That is all it will take to use the new device from Amazon.
With the companion app, you are also able to see yourself from every angle. You can build a personal lookbook and share your photos.
Echo Look helps you to discover brands and styles inspired by your lookbook photos.
You are also able to get a second opinion from Style Check. This new service by Amazon combines machine learning and advice from fashion specialists.
The device is using technology based on Amazon’s Alexa machine learning algorithms. This technology will continue to improve the results and provide more customized options for you.
AMAZON ECHO LOOK NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER
The Echo Look is not ready for shipping yet. But Amazon is taking invites from Prime Members to become the first customers to use this new device and service.
If you are an Amazon Prime Member, go to the product page and put your claim in to be on the bleeding edge of computer-assisted fashion buying.
NO WORD ON HOW MARKETPLACE SELLERS CAN USE ECHO LOOK
The Amazon announcement was short of any information on how Amazon Marketplace sellers can take advantage of the device.
Amazon is making a big push for fashion. It is only reasonable to assume Amazon will develop a system to include Marketplace products.
If this gadget takes off, this could be a game changer in Fashion buying. For that reason, Amazon Marketplace sellers should follow the implementation of this device.
We will keep you updated if new information becomes available how to integrate your listings on Amazon with Echo Look.
