Canadian eBay Sellers Are Losing Canada Post Discounts
eBay Canada has informed sellers that effective July 1, 2018, the shipping rates the company has offered through Shippo for Canada Post shipping services will change to reflect Canada Post’s standard rates.

The company said sellers don’t have to take any action due to this change as costs will simply change, and new rates will automatically calculate on labels created starting on July 1st.
eBay further said that for years, Canada Post extended exclusive pricing to Canadian eBay sellers and the company just last year changed to Shippo to maintain discounted Canada Post rates.
Now it seems that Canada Post ended those rates on Shippo as well, but customers using Shippo will still be able to access Solutions for Small Business rates on the Shippo platform.

Another alternative for eBay sellers in Canada may be Canada Post’s Small Business Services which offers discounted shipping through its own Snap Ship tool.
