For online merchants who have been considering the Walmart Marketplace, ChannelAdvisor released a case study highlighting how the still emerging online marketplace can help small business owners find success.
The provider of cloud-based ecommerce solutions worked closely with Dynacraft, a manufacturer of bicycles, scooters, and battery-operated ride-on toys, to propel its sales on the Walmart Marketplace.
“Dynacraft is an inspiring example of a brand that responds to changing consumer expectations and boldly embraces digital transformation to succeed in a competitive ecommerce landscape. With a well-established retail footprint, the brand recognized the need for an omnichannel approach to attract more consumers. As a Walmart Connect Partner, ChannelAdvisor allows Dynacraft and other brands to lean heavily on our expert guidance for Walmart — beyond simply listing products and managing campaigns — a key differentiator.“Mike Shapaker, chief marketing officer at ChannelAdvisor
Dynacraft credited ChannelAdvisors advertising and digital marketing expertise for helping its business connect with more buyers on Walmart.com The company said that through ChannelAdvisor’s Managed Services for Digital Marketing, and within months of partnering with them, its Walmart sales increased up to 100% year-over-year.
“The level of service ChannelAdvisor has provided us makes it difficult to find another partner out there that has our best interest at heart. ChannelAdvisor has always been willing to pivot and shift, providing our e-commerce management team with expert insights and guidance to win the sale.”Patricia Gates, Director of Business Operations at Dynacraft
Dynacraft is an early adopter of ChannelAdvisor’s support for Walmart Connect, which enables sellers to manage their brand on Walmart’s Marketplace easily.
ChannelAdvisor says brands and retailers can leverage its powerful automation capabilities to help streamline critical tasks for success on Walmart.com. This includes managing advertising campaigns, scheduling, bidding, and achieving product listing optimization.
ChannelAdvisor to Add Walmart Fulfillment Services Support
In June, ChannelAdvisor plans to expand its support for Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), enabling businesses to create inbound shipping plans, accept Walmart shipping labels, and provide all required tracking information to commence inbound processing.
While its grocery business fuels Walmart’s growth in online commerce, the recently expanded availability of WFS should bring more online sellers to the platform This should enable the retailer to better compete with Amazon’s marketplace and fulfillment services and offering another viable sales channel to independent online sellers.
