DHL Streamlines Bookings and Air Freight Quotations
DHL Global Forwarding now offers a new Online Freight Quotation and Booking service for its international air freight transportation. This generates a more competitive customer quotation based on transit information and door-to- door all-in rates.

The company’s latest quotation and booking services integrate DHL Interactive and DHL Forwarding’s online customer portal, where it provides creation and delivery of customized shipment reports and shipment tracking.

DHL’s latest innovation on quotation and booking service offers an immediate price quote for general cargo freight and even offers two speeds of service via Air Connect and Air Economy products.
The undisputed leader in international logistics
DHL never fails to deliver its promises. According to Forbes, the company has arisen as the leader in global logistics, with a vast connection of networks from 220 countries and territories, 350,000 trusted employees, and over 180 million of shipments each year. The company’s yearly revenue is estimated to be at least $67.5 billion each year.
DHL is reported to be spending at least $400 million more to expand its facility in its Central Asia Hub—thereby increasing the company’s current expansion commitment of at least 180 percent. The company targets to increase its Central Asia Hub from 75,000 to 125,000 pieces of shipments every hour.
DHL’s Central Asia Hub is in the heart of Hong Kong International Airport. It is dedicated to DHL aircraft which delivers at least 800 commercial flights each day.
The CAH expansion is scheduled to open by 2022, just in time for the Hong Kong International Airport’s opening of its third runway.
