3 Tips For Sellers to Help Prepare for eBay Open Online
eBay highlighted three tips to make sure sellers get the most out of eBay Open Online’s sessions, guest speakers, networking opportunities, and experts during its 3-day event.
- Sellers can create their custom agenda. Sellers can set their own agenda to learn more about the things they want to learn more about. eBay will customize an event plan for each seller.
- Don’t miss favorites. Sellers can check out the full lineup for eBay Open Online, ensuring they will participate in the sessions they want.
- Conference tech orientation. Tour the event platform and explore fun features!
Tips to Access eBay Open Online FAQ
To ensure sellers are able to make the most of eBay Open Online’s many learning and connection opportunities, eBay released this troubleshooting guide.
- I can’t log in or find a link to attend.
- Visit ebay.com/open and register with your Seller ID. Once you’ve registered, come back to that URL and click the option to “Join Virtual Event Here” when the sessions begin.
- I registered but can’t join eBay Open Online.
- Visit ebay.com/open and register again with your Seller ID. Our virtual doors will open at 11 am PT (2 pm EST) tomorrow and the event will kick off at 12 pm PT (3 pm EST). Once the doors open, click the option to “Join Virtual Event Here.”
- Can I chat with other sellers?
- Yes. General chat will be available on the Bevy platform throughout the three days of Open. General chat is accessible no matter which session you’re in. Session and Booth chat will be available to participants in those areas. Seller networking will also be available on Days 2 and 3 of eBay Open Online and is a great way to gather and connect with other sellers.
- Can I ask eBay questions?
- Yes. Session Q&A will be available when you’re in a session. You can use the Q&A tab to ask speakers direct questions in the training session and category breakouts. In addition, you can direct your questions to the Q&A tab within each of the eBay Booths. Just look for the Booth tab at the top of your screen and click to join the Booth of your preference.
- How do I navigate around the Bevy platform?
- When you first enter the event, please watch the lobby video featuring our Director of Seller Community and Engagement, Rebecca Michals. If you join on Day 2 or 3 (Thursday or Friday), the video will be available within the Resource Library.
- I’m having issues with the Bevy conference platform.
- If you’re having trouble navigating the platform, head to the Resource Library to watch our Day 1 Lobby video, review the events FAQs, or click the Help? icon to chat with Bevy staff.
- What are some cool things I can do during eBay Open Online?
- Attend seller networking events on Days 2 and 3. Plus, don’t forget to check out the photo booths and post to social with the hashtag #ebayopenonline for a chance to be featured on the social feed for the last day of eBay Open Online.
eBay hopes sellers will get the most out of eBay Open Online. The event was last held in 2019, but due to the COVID pandemic, the company skipped eBay Open in 2020 and brought it back in 2021 as a virtual conference.
