eBay Raises Prices in UK for Deliveries Powered By Shutl

eBay informed sellers in the UK that prices for deliveries that are powered by Shutl will increase starting on 4 January 2019.

The price change affects both private and business sellers using most eBay delivery services. There are a notable exceptions for Hermes rates 5-10kg (drop off and collection), UK Mail 0-5kg and DPD 0-10kg.

eBay says that most of its rates are still cheaper than buying postage direct from carrier.

Plus with eBay delivery service, sellers benefit from higher standard compensation, and the option to purchase enhanced compensation up to £1,000 for any carrier to cover the more expensive items, in case of loss or damage in transit.

Other eBay delivery services

eBay also now offers printerless services on both Hermes and CollectPlus drop off parcels.

Plus sellers can add Proof of Delivery for just 80p on Economy parcels, or adult signature service on UPS for just £2.50 per parcel.
