With over two decades of experience in buying and selling on eBay, Bannerman’s extensive knowledge will be put to use in her new role as the Pre-Loved Style Director.
She will take on various responsibilities, including styling and sourcing for fashion-related campaigns on the marketplace, providing styling services for influential personalities collaborating with the site, conducting on-site merchandising consultations, and acting as a fashion spokesperson for the brand.
Before taking up this role, Bannerman collaborated closely with eBay UK on styling the contestants of the popular reality show, Love Island.
She curated their looks using pre-loved items sourced from the marketplace, which included a variety of authenticated sneakers and garments from eBay UK’s Imperfects range. A role she will continue to do.
Furthermore, Bannerman will assume a crucial role in eBay’s partnership with Vogue Forces For Change, a collaboration that highlights sustainability, diversity, and individuals driving positive change.
She will work closely with the British Vogue team to discover remarkable pre-loved treasures on eBay for upcoming events. Bannerman will also provide valuable insights to consumers, guiding them on how to embrace trends by exploring vintage and pre-loved items available on the site.
“We’re thrilled to officially welcome Amy into the eBay team, she has already been instrumental to eBay’s impact in the pre-loved fashion movement, so we can’t wait to build on this relationship and see what further results we can achieve together,” said Kirsty Keoghan, Global GM of Fashion, eBay.
Commenting on her new role, Bannerman added: “I’m so happy to start this new role, it has been incredible working with eBay to style the Islanders for the past couple seasons and I’m so proud of how much we have already changed pre-loved perceptions. I’m excited to work even more closely with the eBay team to inspire a more conscious way of shopping.”
