Etsy and CERF+ Working with Artists and Makers Impacted by Hurricane Harvey

Etsy announced today they are working with CERF+, a nonprofit organization that focuses on safeguarding artists’ livelihoods, to provide direct financial relief to artists and makers who have suffered career-threatening damages from Hurricane Harvey.

Etsy will match up to $100,000 in donations made through the Etsy Advocacy page for Emergency Relief for artists and Makers.

To learn more about CERF+ and what they do, you can visit their site here.

If you are an artist or maker and need assistance due to Hurricane Harvey, please go directly to the CERF+ site here.

Etsy is also urging all artists, makers, and sellers to reach out to their customer support who are affected by Hurricane Harvey. They are promising to work with the Etsy community on billing and orders.

Also, Etsy sellers should be aware of the shipping and delivery issues in the Houston metro area. While the flooding is starting to secede, parcel delivery companies, including USPS, are still going to be impacted for some time.
