The company now offers even deeper discounts on Canada Post Tracked Packet (USA) rates for purchases made through its platform. This is the mail class most commonly used by its Canadian sellers for shipping small and lightweight items (under 2 kg) to the U.S.
Starting today, April 24th, sellers can enjoy discounted rates ranging from 20% to 40% off compared to Canada Post Solutions for Small Business rates.
To take advantage of these special prices, sellers need to register for a Solutions for Small Business account with Canada Post or connect their existing account to their Etsy shop. When sellers select the mail class, the discounted rates will automatically apply.
Important caveats: The eligibility for a Solutions for Small Business account is determined by Canada Post and is not guaranteed or influenced by Etsy. Purchases made through this program will not be counted towards a seller’s savings level with Canada Post.
Nonetheless, this new program will provide sellers the opportunity to save on everyday shipping services through Canada Post. This is just one of the ways Etsy is committed to helping sellers grow their business on the platform, now and in the future.
