The portal for taxpayers who filed their 2018 or 2019 taxes but did not provide direct deposit information is now available.

Filers can now use the “Get My Payment” application to:
- Check payment status
- Confirm payment type: direct deposit or check
- Enter the bank account information for direct deposit if the IRS doesn’t have the taxpayer’s direct deposit information and if they haven’t sent the payment yet.
Additional Notes:
- 2019 Filers: The IRs will send the payment using the information provided with the 2019 tax return. Taxpayers will not be able to change it.
- 2018 Filers: Taxpayers that need to change their account information or mailing address are requested to file 2019 taxes electronically as soon as possible. That is the only way to let the IRS know the new information.
The IRS also notes that they are currently unable to process individual paper tax returns due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
