Key Juneteenth Dates For Your eCommerce Business In 2022
Last year President Biden established Juneteenth as an official federal holiday. This means that just one year later many businesses might not be aware of how this holiday could impact their business as they are simply not used to this holiday at this time of year.

This year the Juneteenth National Independence Day falls on Sunday 19th of June which means that most institutions will be observing the holiday on Monday the 20th of June.
Juneteenth Business Operating Hours 2022
Government Offices and Banks
As it is a federal holiday all government office buildings and offices will be closed on Monday the 20th of June 2022.
On top of that according to the Federal Reserve website, most U.S. banks and branches will be closed on Monday the 20th of June. Most digital services and tools should continue to operate as usual as well as stand-alone ATM machines.
Courier and Delivery Services
According to the official USPS website, the postal service will also be closed on Monday, June 20th, the same way it would be on any other federally observed holiday.
UPS has announced that they will be observing Juneteenth on Sunday the 19th of June and will be operating as normal on Monday the 20th of June. The UPS website also states that locations may have modified working hours so it is best to check with your local store.
At the time of writing FedEx has not listed Juneteenth on their website as an observed holiday and they have not given any announcement regarding the holiday.
