Macy’s and Samsung announce they are opening a boutique style store in a store at Macy’s Herald Square flagship location in New York City. A lot of the details sounds very similar to the Amazon and Kohl’s announcement earlier in the year.
With Hal Lawton at the helm at Macy’s, could this lead to Macy’s going beyond typical department store categories on macys.com? Afterall, Macy’s probably hired him for his eCommerce experience which includes eBay and Home Depot.
Here is the Press Release from Macy’s
Macy’s and Samsung today announced the launch of a unique Samsung experience at the retailer’s flagship location in New York City.
