Sellers can now use USPS First Class Envelopes for shipping packages weighing up to 3 ounces.
- 1 oz: $0.60
- 2 oz: $0.84
- 3 oz: $1.08
To avoid extra charges, sellers must ensure that their envelope for shipping meets the required standards by measuring it beforehand. The aspect ratio, which is the length divided by height, should be between 1.3 and 2.5, and the envelope should be proportional.
- Weight: Up to 3 oz
- Length: Between 5 and 11 ½ inches
- Width: Between 3 ½ and 6 ⅛ inches
- Thickness: Up to ¼ inch with no lumps
- Material: Paper
Mercari does warn that envelopes are subject to bending due to the automated sorting machines used by USPS. However, each shipment is covered up to $20 in Shipping Protection for Trading Cards.
These mailers are tracked only on Mercari. Sellers and Buyers cannot track these shipments via normal USPS tracking.
