The marketplace was approved by LEGO to offer authentic LEGO products on the platform, which are sold and fulfilled by independent sellers.
LEGO, known worldwide for its infinite designs for kids and adults to build houses, landscapes, vehicles, and character sets, is trusted for its high standards and exceptional quality, making it a perfect fit for OnBuy.
The continued influx of well-known brands OnBuy is able to offer on its marketplace emphasizes the company’s position as a leader in eCommerce.
“It’s a very exciting time for OnBuy. This year has really seen OnBuy grow its network of retailers and brands to an impressive level, with quality and trust remaining at the heart of the business. Working with the team to bring coveted LEGO products to OnBuy will help us serve more consumers than ever before, with the products they want to see. As the retail silly season approaches, we expect to see plenty of activity on the platform, stay tuned as we continue onboarding more big names before the year is up”

OnBuy Doesn’t Compete With Sellers
OnBuy has built a reputation for trust and transparency by never competing against its sellers with in-house branded products or biased search results.
The company’s philosophy creates a fair opportunity for small business retailers to grow and succeed on the eCommerce platform which is a refreshing alternative in the sector.
In many ways, OnBuy’s business model seems to be becoming increasingly unique. Several marketplace competitors now develop and market their own products or engage in “backroom deals” with brands and high-volume sellers to promote products and listings.
As a leading alternative marketplace, OnBuy continues to build its business on connecting consumers with trusted retailers, offering them the products they want at competitive prices while supporting small businesses.
LEGO is just one of the many major brands that have joined OnBuy in the past few years, adding to the 36 million products available on the marketplace from more than 7,000 retailers.
While OnBuy’s primary market is still the UK, the company plans to launch in more countries, including the US, by the end of 2023.
The company recently raised £35M in a Series A+ funding round to fuel its expansion.
