This initiative is part of Poshmark’s ongoing efforts to provide sellers with additional resources to increase their sales and grow their businesses on the platform.
By enrolling in Promoted Closet, sellers will have the opportunity to promote their listings in high-traffic areas of search results and brand pages, and monitor their performance using detailed insights.
During the beta program, selected sellers can try out Promoted Closet for free and provide feedback to Poshmark, which will be used to refine and improve the tool.
Poshmark is committed to listening to seller feedback and making iterative improvements to the user experience, with the objective of rolling out Promoted Closet to all U.S.-based sellers later this year.
Poshmark strives to provide a platform where anyone can succeed, and the company is thrilled to offer sellers another tool to help them promote their listings. As part of the beta testing, Poshmark will be evaluating whether increased visibility translates into improved sales.
California-based Poshmark is now part of Korea’s largest internet company, Naver Corporation. This is just one of many new initiatives coming out of the additional resources Naver can bring to Poshmark to scale the platform in the U.S. and globally.
Poshmark Promoted Closet FAQ
For Poshmark sellers to better understand this new feature, the company offered up this FAQ:
How can sellers participate in the beta program?
To test this new feature, the Poshmark is initially reaching out to Posh Ambassador IIs located in the U.S. who use Poshmark on desktop to manage their closet.
Later, the company will be granting access on a rolling basis, starting with the largest closets with the most available listings.
This will help ensure that Poshmark has enough listings to thoroughly test the performance of Promoted Closet. As it continues to learn and refine the beta experience, the criteria is subject to change. Interested sellers can join the waitlist by filling out this form.
How will Poshmark determine when to let more sellers into the beta program?
The Poshmark will monitor feedback, addresses bugs and issues, and improve the product experience before they will open up access for more sellers to join on a rolling basis.
The plan is to test a diverse set of closets and capturing feedback from different types of sellers to build the most successful experience for the broader community.
How will selected sellers be notified?
The Poshmark team will contact sellers via email with instructions to access Promoted Closet and start their free trial. Sellers are encouraged to confirm the email address associated with their Poshmark account is current. In addition, sellers must be opted in to receive announcement email notifications.
When can sellers expect Promoted Closet to be available to everyone?
Poshmark’s goal is to make this available to as many sellers as quickly as possible; however, the company will not sacrifice quality for speed. It is their intention to build a tool that every seller can benefit from, and Poshmark recognizes that it will take time to test and improve.
How can I learn more or share general feedback about Promoted Closet?
Poshmark welcomes any questions and feedback to support@poshmark.com. A member of Team Posh will respond as soon as possible.
