ShipStation collaborates with to grow trading opportunities

US-based small businesses can take advantage of’s recently added key features that enable US companies to do business locally (US-to-US) and globally.

For sellers, enhancements include the streamlined ability to build and manage a digital store on the platform, valuable transaction capabilities, including payment and order protections, and the option to work with’s US-based Seller Success team.

ShipStation and will collaborate on providing mutual resources to help sellers take advantage of new wholesale selling opportunities and efficient shipping with the long-term goal of creating the next generation of trade experiences.

Cross promotional marketing, match-making services, and audience development of the two companies’ brands and networks will be a key aspect in working together.

The collaboration launched at Build Up events in July

The partnership officially kicked off in July when ShipStation joined in three Build Up launch events in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Each Build Up event provided attendees with a workshop, the opportunity for one-on-one training and consultation from experts and exclusive discounts, incentives, and support from ShipStation and other partners.

Alibaba plans to hold additional Build Ups around the country throughout the year with support from local and national business organizations, including in ShipStation’s hometown of Austin, Texas in October 2019.
