With an ever-changing landscape of mail and parcel operations, U.K..K. delivery management company Whistl said today its international inbound and outbound services continue in Europe and around the world, where no local restrictions have been put in place.
Many of its customers have been in contact with the company to ask if they can continue their international mail and parcel operations and were seeking clarity on the impact of the latest U.K. Government COVID-19 guidance issued on 23 March.
“The current Government guidance is explicit saying ‘Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal’.
Nick Wells, CEO Whistl
Business as Usual For Key Countries
Internationally, Whistl is still operating on a business as usual for all key countries in Europe and around the world for untracked postal and tracked services.
Whistl maintains airlift capability to the United States and is keeping this critical export lane open to access for both mail and parcels.
“We will continue to work across the business to ensure we can support our customers during this difficult time,” added Wells.
