The Lahaina Main Post Office has partially reopened, but the Downtown Lahaina Post Office “was destroyed and will not reopen in the foreseeable future,” USPS has confirmed.
In another update issued to the shipping industry, the U.S. Postal Service said letter carriers recommenced mail delivery services to residences and mailboxes that remain intact. However, areas that remain inaccessible will not receive mail delivery.
Customers who previously received mail from the Downtown Lahaina Post Office, and cannot receive mail at their residence or business, can retrieve their mail from the dutch door located in the lobby of the Lahaina Main Post Office. This is a change, as until a few days ago, the mail was redirected to the Wailuku Post Office.
In addition, the Postal Service said retail operations are still not available at the Lahaina Post Office, and customers needing these services should visit the Wailuku Post Office at 250 Imi Kala Street, Wailuku, HI 96793-9998.
Hours of operations at Wailuku are Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Retail window hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

UPS & FedEx
Neither UPS, FedEx or DHL have any active service alerts for Lahaina, but these carriers face the same delivery challenges. Likely, shipments to the area will be held at the nearest depot or delivery office.
Customers should contact the carrier for more information.
