Weather Always Matters

Keep in mind that weather delays are always possible. Also, both FedEx and UPS traditionally do not guarantee ground service delivery dates as we get closer to the final days. We will update you with that information.

Also except for Priority Mail Express, USPS does not guarantee delivery dates. And while many people think Priority Mail Express is next day delivery, that is not the case for many non-metro areas.

Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands

The situation in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands is very fluid. It does appear USPS is able to delivery to many addresses or a post office near the address.

But there are issues with tracking information not being updated promptly due to power outages. You may also want to add signature required for higher value shipments, even if the customer did not pay for it.

For eBay and Amazon shipments, keep an eye out on your on-time metrics. eBay considers both destinations domestic shipments and while the company never stated such publically, we believe they are not being counted as late.
